The reliability and performance of our engine seals has enabled us to be in the position where our products are used in engines ranging from high performance F1, Nascar and Le Mans, through all forms of motorsport to smaller engines of kart and scooter racing.
Each formula will have its own performance demands, be it high speed, high vacuum, specialist fuel blends, we have been able to develop a solution to meet our customers performance and reliability needs. It is not only the main crank and camshaft seals we supply, our seals are also used in all engine ancillaries such as pumps, distributor and KERS drives.
To support our development programmes all seals are designed using non-linear Finite Element Analysis, before validation on our in house test rigs capable of matching most operating conditions.
The elastomer section of the seal is chemically bonded to the housing during the moulding process. This allows our seals to be bonded directly to complex housings using exotic materials to save space and weight. With cost reduction being a high priority we are able to reclaim these expensive housings and remould a new seal.
