Our experience of elastomeric products and sealing has led us to be involved in various projects for marine applications. The knowledge gained from motorsport has seen the same technology be transferred to marine engines and propulsion systems, where performance improvement was the key requirement.
As an example of the service we are able to offer, a production boat builder approached us for help with a sealing problem on the prop shaft. Not only were we able to help with the sealing, we helped redesign the complete prop shaft assembly, resulting in us supplying the complete assembly of anti-vibration mounting, bearings, seals, and prop shaft.
It is not only the drivetrain that we have been involved with, we helped a customer building autopilots to reduce the friction in the seals to improve performance.
